Barielle Buddha-ful

Buddha-ful, 2 coats over OPI I Theodora You: sheer pink base with green to blue flakies.  I love how soft and pretty this looks!  The base is pretty sheer, so it doesn't seem to reach opacity on its own.  However, it should look great over any sheer pinks or nudes.  The flakies in this are generally green, but at extreme angles you can see the shift to blue.  Formula-wise, it was thin and very easy to apply.

Availability
Barielle Buddha-ful is available for purchase at The Beauty Clutch for $6.50.  However, they're currently holding a sale, so all of their Barielle polishes are now $5!  I haven't looked through the entire site, but their OPIs and Essies are also on sale.  Definitely give them a visit to see what else they offer. :)

Sation I Love Miss-Self Glitters

Hi guys!  Today I have a few glitters from Sation's Glitter 1 Series.  These were provided to me by Angela from The Beauty Clutch.  She's actually not too far from me, so it was fun talking to another polish lover in my area.

Ego-Friendly, 2 coats over Zoya Rocky: neon green and black shards with small satin white hexes and fine green glitter.  There are also some small silver shards as well and the base has a sheer green tint to it.  Application was stellar, and I love how the shards look like paint splatters.  This combination in particular was really pretty.  You should try it. ;)

Etsy Loves & Pretty Jelly News

Hi everyone!  I don't have a polish post today, so I thought I'd share some things I've purchased on Etsy.  I also have some Pretty Jelly (my indie brand) related news at the end as well. :)

First up are these stunning handmade soaps by DeShawn Marie.  I just got mine in the mail today, carefully wrapped in gold packaging.

And here they are out of their boxes: Grapefruit Orange (left) & Lilac Rose (right).  I told you they're stunning.  Some serious eye candy right here.

I haven't tried them yet, but I am definitely looking forward to it.  The rose one I gave to my mother, and she said she really liked it.  In any case, they both smell divine, so I'm already in love with these.  Plus, they're vegan! :)

This one I bought a while ago from Ura Michi.  The owner, Mikako, was my artsy friend from high school, so I was excited to see that she had an Etsy shop.  I wanted a customized gadget cozy for my digital camera, and the whole process was quick and easy.  I usually just throw my camera (ouch) into my purse, so I think my camera is happier now.

Eek! super kawaii~~

Hehe, so did you enjoy today's dose of pretty and cute? :)  Anyway, I guess if you're still here, you want to hear what's new with Pretty Jelly!  Since I've opened my shop, I've had several requests that I provide international shipping.  So the good news is that we have an international stockist: Mei Mei's Signatures!

Pretty Jelly polishes should be ready to launch there around the end of this month/beginning of next month.  So be sure to follow Mei Mei's Signatures on Facebook for updates!  In the meantime, definitely check out these lovely swatches of our polishes.

Gotham Polish: Goddess Collection (without base) / Goddess Collection (over black) / Regular holos
Pointless Cafe: Goddess Collection (alone & over black) / Regular holos
Jen's Nail Files: Goddess & regular holos

I am also launching a new collection today (5/22) and restocking many of the sold out colors in my Etsy shop.  For real time updates, feel free to like Pretty Jelly on Facebook.  There's also a lot of cool nail art on there as well. :)

Alright, enough with the links!

Couture de Minnie by OPI

Hi everyone!  I am, indeed, still alive. -.-  I meant to post more, but I kept holding off on collection reviews because I wanted to swatch them all at once.  Of course, it later occurred to me that I would have probably finished a collection by now if I had just reviewed one polish a day.  But I like having collection swatches in one post.  Lol.

For today, I have swatches of the new OPI Couture de Minnie collection.  Just like the last Minnie Mouse inspired collection, this one is composed of reds and pinks.

Chic From Ears To Tail, 3 coats: medium pink creme with very subtle clear shimmer.  I found this a little streaky and my brush kept dragging in the polish.  This one's a pass for me.  It's a fairly common pink, so I'm sure there are dupes with better formulas out there.

Zoya Pixie Dust: Summer 2013 Edition

Happy Friday!  I'm so glad I swatched these earlier this week.  The latter half of this week was rather gloomy.  I think textures look better in the sun, so that's where I wanted to photograph these. :)

Whimsical Nude Print Nail Art

Hey all!  I feel like it's been a while since I last did nail art.  I was in the mood for nude nails and color, so this is what I came up with.  I liked the illustrated look it had, so I made it matte to further emphasize that quality.

Layering: Nfu Oh 51!

Hi everyone!  I tried to think of a clever title for this post, but I couldn't.  Lol.  I haven't tried any of the new Nfu Ohs flakies I bought in my last haul, so I made that my nail goal for today. :P  Here's 2 coats of Nfu Oh 51 over OPI Vant To Bite My Neck?.  I also dabbed on some Kleancolor Chunky Purple, but you can't really see it.
